Missha M Signature Real Complete BB Cream SPF 25 PA++

COM

Missha M Signature Real Complete BB Cream is said to give an even, natural-looking finish. It's non-chemical, paraben-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol-free, Triclosan, GMO and Benzophenone - free.

The packaging is really nice. It's a tube with pump enclosed in a hard plastic case. The packaging makes it look expensive as it really is.

This is shade #23 or Natural Yellow Beige. Like the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream that I have tried before, this is also too moisturizing for me. I don't think it's suitable for those with oily skin like me.

It's easy to blend and coverage is very good.

I had my mom use this and she likes it because it doesn't set into her wrinkles. It's also provides the hydration she needs for her skin.

Last year, my sister went to Singapore and asked me what I want. I told her to buy me a Rachel K CC Cream because it's a Singapore brand.

When she got home, I was so excited to get it, then I saw the shade... Sunkissed. At that time, my complexion was too pale for the Sunkissed shade, so I just kept it instead.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Light/Medium #110

COM

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream is said to be suitable for those with normal skin. It has 0% oils and already has SPF 30 in it.

The BB cream is watery. But it feels too moisturizing for my oily skin. It made my face look shiny so I dab the excess oil with a blotting paper before I applied powder.

L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Light

L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream promises to hydrate, correct, even and perfect your skin. It also said that it primes to smooth skin's texture. It comes in 4 shades. I got the Light one. This BB cream has antioxidants Vitamin C and E.

At first I thought the bb cream got expired or something because I wasn't expecting what looks like white
lotion to come out. All the bb creams I have used are color beige. So this was really a surprise.

Turns out, this BB cream has a special "Beautifying Beads" in it. Those are encapsulated pigments infused in the ultra-light lotion. It's kind of cool because when I start spreading it, it suddenly became brownish.

The bb cream is ultra-light. It's watery and runny, just how I like it to be.

I have already wrote about this before, but I was fixing my blog posts the other day and I accidentally deleted this entry.

Dr. Jart Silver Label BB cream is one of the first BB creams I got. I chose this because it says it controls oil. Since I have oily skin, I really need something with good oil-control.

In the market of BB creams, Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream is one of the most popular ones. What's nice about this Missha BB cream is that it comes in different shades. I got No. 23 - Natural Beige. There weren't any product sample which I could test so I just guessed my shade.

Someone told me that Hanskin is a popular brand of skin care line in Korea, so, I just have to try out their BB cream.

The "3 Solution" on this bb cream is the wrinkle, whitening and SPF. It already has SPF 35 PA+++ so I can skip the sunscreen.

SKIN79 [VIP Gold Collection] Super Plus BB Cream is another BB cream that I have been using.

Skin79 Super Plus BB Cream is meant for those with dry skin. I think it's also marketed towards the more mature skin since aside from whitening, it also has the anti-wrinkle function. I like that this has SPF 25 already. So, I can skip the sunscreen when I use this.

Etude BB Magic Cream

After spending a really long time inside the Etude House shop, I decided to get ETUDE HOUSE BB Magic Cream.

I just don't understand the packaging concept of bb creams in tube. If it's in a tube, why not let us squeeze the cream out like a toothpaste? Anyway...

Etude House BB Magic Cream Moist is said to be for dry skin. I don't have dry skin but still purchase it anyway. I can't read the Korean description at the back of the box and tube so I went to their English website. Website says that this bb cream contains Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Madecassol, Centella Asiatica for skin nourishing and soothing.

This bb cream is easy to blend. It also has a pleasant smell. The shade is just right for my skin tone. I just dusted some loose powder after.

Here's the swatch of the cream. Beside it is a small spot where I blended it onto my arm. It blends well and the shade matches my complexion perfectly.

The consistency is normal, not too thick nor watery. It's easy to blend. Because it's for dry skin, this bb cream made my face oily. Therefore, oil control is not good.

I had this bb cream on and took a picture of myself and to my horror! My face came out whiter than the rest of my body. It looks normal naturally. Maybe the effect has something to do with the camera flash.

My First BB Experience: Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream

COM
Since I am dying to try on a BB cream, I went on eBay to find local sellers in my area. I found someone selling a sample size of Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream. I'm desperate, so I bought it!

Lioele is a Korean brand. This Lioele Beyond the Solution BB cream says that it gets absorbs into your skin. It really does, since it wasn't greasy when I applied it on.

They claim to include moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, macadamia nut and jojoba oil. It wasn't that moisturizing when I applied it on.

The good things about this is it gets absorbed into your skin quickly. But, it's a bit sticky after. It isn't greasy, which is great! And also has good oil control. My face wasn't shiny after hours of wearing this. This also stayed on my face the whole afternoon. Sadly, there's no SPF. I have to apply sunscreen before using this.

The cream comes out pretty dark.

But blends nicely. Could you spot the BB cream? It's the one a bit shiner than the rest of my hand.

What is BB Cream

COM
If you don't know what BB creams are, it stands for "Blemish Balm". The best way to describe it is that it's like tinted moisturizer/foundation make-up. It originated in Korea. It was first use as a post laser surgery cover-up. It became so popular that they made it as a cosmetics.

The best BB creams should make your skin look like porcelain just like Asian actors have. It should cover all your blemishes and hide your pores. Above all, it will give you a "no make-up" or natural look.

There are a lot of BB creams to choose from. So, finding the right one is like a quest. Aside from moisturizing, there are some that has whitening, anti-wrinkle, oil-control properties, just to name a few. In choosing a BB cream, you should find one that matches your skin tone and skin type. Consistency also matters.

Unlike Foundations, BB creams shorten your prep-time. Since it's already moisturizing, you can skip your moisturizer. Some BB creams also has SPF in it already, so you can skip your sunscreen as well. Imagine all those other creams that you use before applying your foundation... you can skip all that and just use a BB cream. You also won't need a concealer since BB creams also have good coverage.

I'm trying to find the right BB cream for me. It's going to be hard... but I think it's FUN!
