Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Conditioner
I'm still trying to find a good eco-friendly shampoo and conditioner. So far I have tried
Organix and Pantene Nature Fusion, both of which I am not so happy about.
I always like Garnier hair care products. So I was excited
to try out their green
Pure Clean line. The shampoo is 94% biodegrable while the conditioner is 92%. The non-ecotoxic formulas leave behind less residue that can linger in the water and environment. It has no silicon, paraben nor dye.
The shampoo is a clear liquid. It's a bit runny unlike other creamy shampoo. I tend to use a lot more shampoo than I normally would. It not hard to lather up unlike the other eco-friendly shampoos I have tried.
I love the smell, it differs from any other Garnier shampoo and conditioner I have used. This is doesn't smell citrusy or fruity.
I don't like the conditioner though. It has no conditioning effect on my hair. My hair is still tangled up even after rinsing the conditioner off. That's what I hate about eco-friendly conditioners, it doesn't really condition and soften my hair.
So far I like the shampoo but hate the conditioner. Maybe next time I'll just get a different conditioner, like Garnier Fructis
Triple Nutrition conditioner instead. I really like their Triple Nutrition line.
