Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser

I'm still continuing using milder products for my skin due to the sensitivity I have been experiencing lately because I'm using a retinol cream. In the morning, I wake up with red patches on my skin. Other days, it's peeling slightly. I decided to change my morning facial cleanser into a milder one.

I bought Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser simply because I need a "gentle" cleanser. I thought that since my skin is a bit sensitive, I needed something mild and hydrating.

I was kind of surprised the first time I pumped it out onto my hand. It came out very liquid.



The cleanser doesn't foam, which, I hate. I think I must have skipped reading the "soap-free" part on the label. You can use this cleanser with water or you can just wipe it off with a cotton ball or pad. I use it in the shower so I always rinse it off. The cleanser is for sensitive skin therefore there is absolutely no scent to it.

There is no filmy residue after rinsing it off my face, which was nice.

This cleanser just doesn't do it for me. It doesn't cleanse well even if I only use it in the morning. My face still feels oily after rinsing, especially my nose. It does a good job on my cheeks though, it keeps it soft and moisturized.

    I used Neutrogena in the past and never fully satisfied myself. I can't get enough of Cetaphil don't know if you ever use it before but I highly recommended it.

    Thanks Marina. I always have a bottle of Cetaphil at home in case of emergencies. I always use Cetaphil to clean my face after a visit from the dermatologist.
