Halloween Nail Art

This is my Halloween nails. I watched some tutorials on Youtube and decided to give it a try. It was fun creating this nail art... A bit messy, but fun.

I painted white nail polish first then, with a straw, I blew the red nail polish over it to look like blood spatter.

I used Zoya in Sharon and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet.
I also used a white stripping tape at where the two colors meet.

I just did a nail art.

At first I thought the scallops didn't look like scallops because it was too big. But now that I see my art work at this angle, the scallops size is just fine.

Nail Art: Black Stripes

Here's an easy nail art I just did, black stripes.

Since I don't have those nail tape because I do not know where to buy them, I used Scotch magic tape to create this design. I cut out strips of tape in different width, using 3 strips per nail. Then I painted black polish over it. Easy! The cutting of tape just takes a lot of time.

Pinterest and Instagram has loads of nail art designs and ideas. Here's a Valentine's design that I tried out. It was time consuming to do as I have to wait for the polish to dry before doing the next step.


I tried to be as careful as I could but it still came out a bit messy.

Here's a fun thing to do with your nails, add Fimo to it! Fimo nail art canes are made from polymer clays. These canes sort of has the texture of pencil erasers. A cane is around 2" long. There's a wide range of designs to choose from. I got the flower designs.
